1. About the service

MyLocalCallout (MyLocalCallout Ltd) is a free introduction service that connects homeowners with independent tradespeople. We are not a contractor, we do not carry out work, and we are not a party to any contract you make with a tradesperson.

2. Your request

You must be 18 or over and give accurate details. If you rent the property, you are responsible for getting your landlord's permission for any work. Do not submit requests on behalf of someone else without their permission.

3. Partners

We ask partners to hold the qualifications, registrations and insurance their trade requires (for example Gas Safe registration for gas work) and to follow our partner standards. We do not guarantee availability, price, quality or timing of any work. Please check credentials yourself before work starts and agree the price in writing.

4. Emergencies

This service is not an emergency service. If there is a risk to life, call 999. If you smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.

5. Liability

Any contract for work is between you and the tradesperson. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for work carried out by partners. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

6. Acceptable use

Do not submit false, abusive or automated requests. We may block submissions that appear fraudulent.

7. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
